Dunav Ruse vs Slavia Sofia by GlacialSpirit
In the last round before the split in the Bulgarian First League Dunav plays against Slavia Sofia.
Dunav are the pleasant surprise of the league this season getting some very nice results and qualifying to play in the top half of the split up. Veselin Velikov built a strong competitive team who is able to trouble every opponent. The team plays tight at the back with sharp counters to tear apart the opposition defensive line. Dunav were hoping that their home stadium will be ready for this game but it is not yet and they will play it in Razgrad. That’s to say the least a huge disappointment. Also motivation will be an issue as the team doesn’t have anything to play for in the current moment.
Slavia will play in the bottom half of the split. They have 27 points and sit on 11th place 3 behind Vereya. The team plays with lots of up and downs and looks very inconsistent. Still Slavia are arranging huge concert for anniversary of their creation and will probably be determined to finish the first part of the season well. When they have a day it’s possible for them to dispatch even far stronger opponents.
Interesting to note is that the odds went from 1.52 yesterday evening for a home win to whooping 2.10 today. That indicates either that the bookies count the fact that Slavia will be much more motivated or that as often happens in the Bulgarian League there will be something smelly in this game. Anyways I can’t ignore the sudden change in odds and the different level of motivation between those two sides. Therefore I’m aiming for a surprise here with a small bet on a win for Slavia for 3.20 in bet365. Good Luck!
