Time for matchday 39 in the English Championship. Fulham takes on Rotherham in need of 3 points to keep the pressure on Sheffield W and hopefully leapfrog them.

The hosts are already relegated in theory even though they are not mathematically. They obviously weren’t up for the challenge and have gotten only 17 points in 38 games so far. The team lost all hopes for staying above the water and is probably looking more and more towards the summer break. Their form is 7 straight defeats and the team doesn’t look capable of doing anything about it. The team is looking helpless in terms of defense with 87 goals so far and will probably reach 100 before the end of the season.

Fulham surprisingly lost to Wolves at home last game which forced them to stay out of top 6 for now. They sit on 7th place right behind Sheffield W and is looking like the team in slightly better form. The team looks sharp in terms of attack with having scored 66 goals just behind league leaders Newcastle. Tom Cairney looks in form scoring a few goals and assisting some others. Chris Martin also looks in form and we may as well see him on the scoreboard.

Interesting to note is that both teams scored in the last 5 games between these sides and Fulham has won the last 3 scoring 3 goals on average. Fulham are without doubt the strong favourites here. They need the 3 points badly and will get them. The question is how far they will go in terms of scoring. My pick here is Fulham -2 AH for 3.00 in bet365. Good Luck!
