Matchday 39 in the English Championship provides as always with lots of interesting games. On Saturday afternoon The Amex stadium will host the game between local team Brighton and former England Champions Blackburn Rovers.

Brighton will probably be glad with the international break after suffering a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Leeds United last game. Chris Hughton will be hoping that his team will get the 3 points as the seagulls are sitting on top of 3rd placed Huddersfield with 6 points but with a game played more. Brighton only problems seem to come away from home though as their form on the Amex looks pretty good. With 2.11 goals per game at home and 2.37 points won on average they have the best home record in the league.

Blackburn Rovers were headed straight to League 1 at some point of the season. Now Tony Mowbray is doing everything he can to avoid that. His team managed to make an 8 game unbeaten run which almost put them out of the danger zone 1 point behind Burton. The team looks sharper in terms of attack lately with last 3 games scoring at least twice. The bad thing though is that the team also lets plenty of goals past the keeper. Interesting to note is that the last 4 games of the team finished as a draw with 3 of them finishing 2-2. The team seems to be letting goals when defending against opponent fast counter attacks and Brighton is one of the teams that can utilize that very well.

Blackburn are both scoring and letting in lately and Brighton are scoring a bit over 2 goals per game at home. Despite their overall good form of late I believe they will have trouble breaking through Brighton defense as the hosts have let only 11 goals in their 19 home games. Brighton are favourites here and for a reason. My pick is for a home win with -1 AH for 2.08 in bet365. Good Luck!

I think its 1-1 or 2-1 in the best way , Blackburn give everything not to be relegated and I think Brighton ambition is to be promoted and they will not go on 100% to be champions

Maybe not motivated to win the League but one wrong step and Huddersfield will knock on their door.

Hudersfield lost on crucial matches like 1-3 to newcastle , 5-0 to fulham , 4-0 to bristol when they were maximum close to Brighton but they do not have quality and psyche to do it , anyway GL bro
