AFC Wimbledon vs Rochdale by Blackcrow

AFC-Wimbledon
VS
Rochdale
Wimbledon (13th) have had some problems scoring goals of late, as they have scored in only one of their last four games, and that was against Milton Keynes Dons (15th) who they beat 2-0 at home. Apart from that, they lost 2-0 at home to Southend (6th), drew 0-0 at Fleetwood Town (3rd) and lost 1-0 at home to Northampton. They are 12 points from a promotion playoff position and 9 points away from the bottom four, so they look pretty safe where they are, but are unlikely to get promoted.

Rochdale (8th) though have some aspirations, as with a win here, they will just one win away from a promotion playoff position, so they have plenty to play for. They have been banging the goals in, as they have scored in each of their last 8 games, and have scored at least three goals in 5 of these last 8 games. These games include a 3-1 win at Chesterfield (23rd), a 3-3 draw at home to Millwall (7th), a 4-1 home win over Gillingham (19th), a 2-1 loss at Scunthorpe (4th), a 2-2 draw at Milton Keynes Dons (15th), a 3-3 home draw with league leaders Sheffield United, a 3-1 loss at Peterborough (11th) and a 3-3 draw with Charlton (16th). They have won two of their last three games but their problem is how many goals they have conceded. Still, they may edge out a win here, as while they are scoring, the opposite can be said for Wimbledon. The last two visits to Wimbledon has seen Rochdale win both games, and as long as they score more than the home side, we will have a winner here.
