England vs Lithuania by Blackcrow

England are undefeated and lead their group as they have won three and drawn the other one, without conceding a goal so far. They won 1-0 in Slovakia, won 2-0 at home to Malta, drew 0-0 in Slovenia and won 3-0 at home to Scotland. They will fancy their chances of winning against Lithuania, who started their qualifiers with a 2-2 draw at home to Slovenia and then drew 1-1 in Scotland. They then beat Malta 2-0 at home and were then thumped 4-0 in Slovakia. It doesn't help their cause here that they were beaten 3-0 by the Czech Republic. These two teams were drawn in the same group for the European Championship qualifiers and England won both games comfortably: 4-0 at home and 3-0 away.

Lithuania will do their best to park the bus against the English but they up against it here. There is enough quality in this England side to stretch whatever the Lithuanians attempt to do, and believe they will not be able to cope with the pace the home side has in their side. Still, England have lost Kane up front, and they do not have a leader in midfield like they used to have when Gerrard or Scholes was playing, and though there are players like Llalana and Alli, they have not yet proven themselves to be consistent performers at this level. England should win but doubt it will be more than 1-0 or 2-0pin
