Cambridge United vs Stevenage by Blackcrow

Cambridge-United
VS
Stevenage
Cambridge (12th) are five points off a promotion playoff spot but their form in the last few weeks has not been that of a team with momentum in the run home, especially at home where they have lost 4 of their last 7 games. They lost 1-0 to Hartlepool (21st), drew 1-1 with Colchester (11th), lost 3-2 to Doncaster (1st), beat Newport (23rd) 3-2, lost 1-0 to Plymouth (2nd), lost 3-1 to Mansfield (9th), and drew 0-0 with Blackpool (8th). They had narrow home losses to Doncaster and Plymouth but nonetheless still lost to them and now they face 4th placed Stevenage who are 4 points behind third placed Portsmouth and promotion to League One.

Stevenage have won 9 of their last 12 games and have some very good momentum going on. They have won 3 of their last 5 road games, and are good value to win again. They lost 1-0 at Blackpool (8th), won 2-0 at Luton (5th), won 2-1 at Crewe (18th), drew 1-1 with Exeter (7th) and beat Crawley Town (19th) 2-1 on the road. Hard to see Cambridge get something out of this game as Stevenage are playing well while they are erratic, and do not have the same quality as the away team, who are the second highest goalscorers in this league
