Mazembe vs Mazembe by Dajkula
Bidvest Wits host Saint-Louisienne in the return match of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League. And I just missed some good odds. The odds have dropped on home win and it isn`t a surprise. Wits are the leading team in the PSL while Saint-Louisienne is the fifth team of the D1 Promotionelle in the Reunion Island. Reunion Island? Where the hell is that? It is an island that nobody knows about just east of Madagaskar and is a part of the European Union. Apparently they speak French there and are a part of France and even play the French cup sometimes.
The history of their games in the CAF Champions League isn`t really great as the biggest achievement was reaching the group stage in 99 when they finished last in the group with -13 goal difference. In 2003 they reached the first round after eliminating a team from Madagaskar.
Bidvest on the other hand is growing in the South African frames. They have a good an experienced coach Hunt and lead the league since last round. After the break they play some good football and have beaten Ajax at home with 5:0 and Orlando away with 2:1. The team was reinforced recently and will try to go for the title this year.
As I read the reports from the first match when Saint-Lousienne won 2:1 Bidvest were the better team. They dominated heavily in the first half and got the lead. They got to confident in second half and slowed down the pace. It cost them a conceded goal and even the whole match in the 90 something minute. The long travel probably had something to do with it.
At home I expect Bidvest will dominate and score a few goals in this clash. 1.80 on home win would be great but now I will have to risk it with a handicap.
