Finally it is here, the WC 2017. The host, France will take on Brazil, who made their mark in the recent Olympics.

Can go on and on about the French team but will settle with that they have the widest squad, with top players on each position and a good mix of veterans and talent in this squad. Will be interesting to see how much rotation that will be used against these teams that they "should" beat. However I think they are all very hyped and want to do a great tournament on homecourt and with players who see the end of their nationalteam career. Brazil played a very lively handball in the OC. They have good players in Toledo, Santos, Silva, Langaro and the winger with the hair, Chiuffa. Played a very aggressive defense and a high paced offense, not always taking the best decisions but it was fun to watch. Maik Santos was very good in OC with his unusual style but can he bring it again. Looking at France I think their weakness is in their keepers. Omayer is good and can be great at times but compared to the better teams, I regard several others higher.

Lot of adrenalin and I think we will get a good paced handball match here. Neither team are afraid of bringing up the tempo and keep on pressuring and both have great offensive quality. If Brazil can reach 25-ish goals I think the line should be covered. 1st match so keeping down the units. Over 56,5 goals is the prediction.
