West Ham vs Manchester City by Rahul

West Ham are looking to home comforts to try and progress to the next stage of the competition as their primary way of progressing to Europe for next season, as they have already been knocked out of the League Cup and are sitting deep in 13th in the table. West Ham were battling with 10 men for 75 minutes in their last game against Manchester United losing 2-0 after keeping the game extremely tight for 63 minutes with that man short. The Hammers will now look now to their key players Payet, Antonio, Carroll and Ayew to help them get through a leaky Manchester City team who have been shipping goals for fun.

Manchester City have been struggling in recent weeks, with Pep Guardiola failing to understand where his side will start turning in performances that can help them win convincingly like they did in the early part of the season. The Manchester City defense has been the leaky one for them where they have kept a clean sheet in only 3 games out of 16 away games o far this season in all competitions. With the suspension of Fernandinho and the injury to Gundogan; we might see Yaya Toure and Fernando come into play a double pivot defensive role tonight. Attacking strength will lie in the usual suspects, but I expect Nolito and Navas to get a start along with Aguero as the front 3 attacking players. City have been in good scoring touch, only not scoring in 4 games all campaign.

In the last 3 meetings between the 2 sides, including one this season, we have seen the games having 2 goals+ and both teams finding the back of the net. I expect more of the same today, and backing Over 2.5 goals and Both teams to score.pin
