Verdasco vs Djokovic by Iniestaone

Its so strange to browse tennis news and check results and see a number 2 next to Djokovic's name. He has started the year well, he has taken three straight set wins and in only one set, the very first vs Struff, did he look a bit shaky as he was broken in his first two serve games but came back and won the set in tiebreak. He eased past him in the second, as he did with Zeballos and Stepanek.

Verdasco is playing better right now than I have seen him play in a very long time. He hadn't won three consecutive matches since Båstad in July 2015 (where he won four in a row) until his most recent win in Doha vs Karlovic. In that match, Karlovic was not having the best service day and Verdasco won 6-2 7-5. He was very aggressive on the second serve where he won a lot of points. Prior to that he defeated Goffin and Pospisil, both in straight sets. I do believe he can be backed right now vs a Djokovic who still has not faced a proper opponent in Doha.

Nole leads the head to head between them, but they go way back as their first ATP match was played 2005. Verdasco is one of very few non top tier players that has defeated Djokovic in the past on several occasions, and despite the most recent head to head history shows significant domination by Djokovic there've still been very even encounters. I think this line is too low for over twice the money. pin
