Kovalik vs Medvedev D.
Despite having a fantastic tournament in Chennai so far, Kovalik is being underrated by bookies. Medvedev is far too big of a favorite here and I see Kovalik taking at least one set.
Lets look at their matches so far in India: Kovalik defeated Skugor and Gunneswaran in the qualifications, then he took a 2-1 win vs Elias before his huge three set win against Cilic. He was truly stunning, his return game was excellent and the way he has handled big servers such as Skugor and Cilic in Chennai makes me think he will have a good time vs his next opponent, Medvedev, who also happens to be a huge server.
Medvedev's way to this match has been past Monteiro and Lu. He was very good in both matches, especially his demolition of Lu as an underdog, and he could very well win against Kovalik too but I doubt it'll be as easy as his previous matches. Kovalik actually has a better record than Medvedev on hardcourt, the Russian is ranked high due to his big indoor and clay court stats. On a regular hardcourt I don't see Medvedev as this big of a favorite, especially not in Chennai where the least aces on the ATP circuit are produced.
