New Orleans Pelicans usually are not my betting choice but this time I think it is time to make exception. Pelicans have one dominate player in face of Antonio Davis but he by himself simply is not enough for long term success. So, Davis is missing support from his teammates plus Pelicans have been in pretty big injury problems this season. That's why they have had weak start of the 2016/17 season and most likely will miss playoffs. But the season is long and after obvious recent improve, Pelicans are now just one win below 8th position on the West coast.

This late improve is in great connection with very good defense of Pelicans. They have allowed only 94.2 pts per game in last five. This is why they have won 4 straight before losing the last time out, away at Cleveland. IMO now is the time for Pelicans to get back on winning streak. New Orleans had two days since Cleveland game unlike Atlanta Hawks for whom this will be back to back after they have won last night away at Orlando. Atlanta is now in their own good run, 4 straight victories but this now definitely is not good spot for them. Usually after such nice wining streak and against conference rivals, when team is going back to back against non-conference rival, it is the right time for them to take a little break. I expect we wont see the Hawks' best game this time.
