Stepanek vs De Greef by Iniestaone

Do you remember Olivier Rochus? He was one of the more prominent Belgian tennis players and although he never got higher up the ranking laddar than 24, he played for a lot of years and gained tons of experience. He is now coahing his national De Greef and from what I've read and seen, its a very good collaboration going on between them. De Greef is only 24 years old and has a lot to offer, his playing style is similar to Rochus' as he is also a player that moves around a lot on the court which of course makes it easier for the two to work together. De Greef reached a career high ranking in July 2016, 131, but has now dropped three spots. His first match here in Doha was a 2-1 win vs Safwat as an underdog.

Stepanek is yet another aging player, 39 this year, who might see his last year on the circuit. He qualified for this tournament as he struggled to get past Giustino as a huge favorite (he won 2-1 in the end) and easily disposed of Lopez-Perez before winning vs Bagdathis as the latter resigned just as Stepanek was about to win the second set. I'm not convinced by Stepanek's performances so far, and I think he will have a hard time versus an inspired De Greef who runs for every point and works the entire court. Stepanek doesn't have a service that gives him free points so there will be lots of rallies where I think De Greef will outgrind him.
