Crystal Palace vs Swansea by Rahul

Crystal Palace have struggled in recent weeks and that was the reason that Alan Pardew had to go, and in came the safety specialist Big Sam Allardyce. Sam already showcased the kind of football that he is going to play, keep it tight at the back, snatch a goal and accumulate as many points as possible. Drawing solidly against Watford and then losing through some bad mistakes against Arsenal. Palace have been good on the attacking end and with this game against a leaky Swansea defence, they will be eager to get their scoring up. Benteke, Zaha, Townsend and Puncheon have all strong attacking instincts and will be looking to take the attack to a weak Swansea defence who have kept just 2 clean sheets in 19 games this season.

Swansea have been struggling defensively conceding 44 goals in 19 games, and its no surprise why 2 managers have been sacked this season as they find themselves sat the bottom of the table. Swansea have been trying to attack and score goals but have struggled with just 2 goals in their last 4 games. 15 games this season have seen them concede 2 goals or more, which does not bode well considering their need for survival. When these 2 teams met earlier this season, it was the game of the season with 9 goals being scored, which saw Swansea ship 4 goals and steal a late win.

With a caretaker manager, mood on the camp low and Swansea conceding goals for fun, I expect Big Sam to grind out a strong win against Swansea in front of their home fans.
