Manchester C. vs Burnley by AhStreak

Manchester City will look to respond to their New Years Eve defeat to Liverpool when they welcome Burnley to the Etihad Stadium on Monday.

Manchester City may have been far from the all dominating force many expected of them under Pep Guardiola, but they are still a very good footballing team and the Premier League title is not quite out of reach yet. There have been several question marks over this City team in recent weeks, particularly in defence where they have looked very poor at times. The likes of Nicolas Otamendi, John Stones and Aleksandar Kolarov have all struggled this season, making mistakes far too often which hands opponents goals. Going forward they have been better, scoring 39 goals in 19 matches so far.

Manchester City have only kept a clean sheet in 22% of their home games in the Premier League and in just 24% of their overall matches in all competitions this season.

Burnley on the other hand earned a thumping 4-1 win against relegation candidate Sunderland on the New Year’s Eve. They are a side that delivers the result at home. All of their 7 wins this season has come at home, which means they are winless in the 8 away games so far this season. However, you can expect Sean Dyche and his men to be under no sort of pressure as they are sitting at a comfortable distance from the relegation zone. Burnley are 11th in the league and has 23 points in their bag.

I except a goal from both sides!My call 3-1 for M.City!
