Liverpool vs Manchester C. by Rahul

Liverpool have been in great scoring form this season, netting 45 goals in 18 games so far, and playing majority of the season without a central striker in the team. Liverpool have relied on their speed especially on the counter attacking form with Firmino, Mane, Origi and Lallana have been attacking really well as a front 4 in the team. However, the biggest problem for Liverpool continues to exist on the defensive end. Liverpool have been poor at the back conceding goals in 6 out of 8 games at home and in 13 out of 18 matches across the season; and that will be something vulnerable especially since they will rely on a backline of Loveren, Klaven and Mignolet who have not been in good sync recently.

Manchester City are looking to build on their re-building form winning games on the spin against Watford, Arsenal and Hull City, with the goals being scored quite easily. They will now welcome back their hit-man Sergio Aguero who will be looking to continue his epic scoring efforts that he had before he got injured against a porous Liverpool outfit. Manchester City have been leaky at the back across the season and have kept only 4 clean sheets in 18 games so far this campaign; which will have the Liverpool attack licking their lips in this game.

10 out of 11 games between the 2 sides have been over 2.5 goals and 10 out of 11 have seen both teams score; so I am backing Over 2.5 goals and Both teams to score in this game.
