Hull City vs Everton by Rahul

Everton come into this fixture high on confidence after beating the defending champions Leicester City on their home patch by a score of 2-0; and now travel to the KCOM stadium to take on a struggling Hull City. Everton come into this game after some decent results losing very narrowly to Liverpool 1-0, beating Arsenal 2-1, a shocking loss to Watford 3-2; a solid 1-1 draw against Manchester United over their last 5 games. Their performance have been improving but defensively they still need to gather more momentum. On the attacking front, Lukaku have been working well with Mirallas, Lennon and Barkley among the supporting cast to deliver goods with Lukaku netting 3 goals in 4 games. He will be looking to tonight's encounter to add to his tally and victory will solidify Everton's position in 7th.

Hull have been horrible defensively conceding 39 goals across the entire season but will continue to miss key forward Abel Hernandez. Hull have had some decent performances at home drawing 3-3 with Palace, 1-1 with West Brom while beating Southampton and Leicester at home. Last time around they got a full thrashing from Hull City despite holding them to 0-0 for a decent period of time. Hull showed that they can be threatening on the counter-attack, but then become extremely vulnerable to conceded on the counter attack themselves. Hull have been conceding an average of 2 goals per game this season; and that reason is for them struggling to lose.

Everton have been strong in recent outings, and this looks like their most winnable away fixture of the season, so I am expecting them to take a victory by around a 2-0 scoreline.
