Perth Scorchers vs Hurricanes by Rahul
Mitchell Marsh finally gets to play almost a full Big Bash League tournament and will be the key allrounder that the Perth Scorchers will rely on during this tournament. Marsh has been good as a first change bowler as well as a big hitter in the middle order.
As a bowler in T20 cricket, he has played only in the Indian Premier League and a few games in the Big Bash League so far. This year he has only played 5 matches in T20 cricket where he is averaging 24 with the bat and and taken 3 wickets in 4 matches that he has bowled. In 59 matches played in T20 format, he has taken 37 wickets while scores at an average of 30 in 52 innings. His strike rate is around 120 and has hit 55 sixes in that time as well, showing that he is a man for the big occasion. The WACA ground is a small one and is prone to hit a lot of sixes in this ground, which can help Marsh as well.
Mitchell Marsh has been in decent nick according to coach Justin Langer, and Marsh even just hit a 30 ball 75 runs in a warm up match coming into the tournament. All things considered it should not be difficult for Marsh to get the 40 points; which I hope that he will get from his batting performance alone.
