Monaco has to respond in this game after an unexpected poor performance against Lyon. They lost to a good Lyon side who were better even before the red card. The visitors took the lead just before half an hour through Rachid Ghezzal. 10 mins after that, Monaco defender Benjamin Mendy was sent off. Playing with 10 men for longer period of the game did inflate the scoreline. 3-1 it ended. That result saw the gap to the top of the table extend to 4. Caen are closer to the drop zone than mid-table. Their away form is the biggest concern; winless in 8 away games losing 7. Stakes would surely be high on them in the second half of the season as they look to get off relegation worries.
