Baltimore had been playing very well and for several weeks was leading the AFC North, but a loss on the last Monday Night Football showed that they are not in a comfortable situation. They need at least two wins in the last three games of the season to get a chance to play in the postseason. Tom Brady threw for almost 500 yards against his defense and QB Joe Flacco has been playing inconsistently. At no point in 2016 did I have high expectations on this Ravens, and I will not be surprised if they miss out on football in January.
Philadelphia is in a streak of 4 losses and since its bye week, occurred in week 4, lost 8 of 10 matches. This after they started the regular season with three straight wins, almost unbelievable. The team is short of offensive playmakeres. We've been talking about QB Carson Wentz for several weeks, but when we stop to think, there's no good wide receiver, a good running back, a good offensive coordinator. The Eagles base is interesting, and if the off-season work is well done, this team has a good future. For now, it's just a team that should end the season with a bad campaign.
Although not enjoying Baltimore football this season, having inconsistent matches and not demonstrating a hustle of contention, we have to bet on them in this duel. He is a superior team to Philadelphia, plays at home and is extremely in need of victory. Let's expect a fully-fledged M & T Bank Stadium this Sunday for the team to achieve a quiet victory against the visitors.
