Crystal-Palace
VS
Chelsea
Chelsea have been winning their goals in recent games without conceding a goal, but today when they take on Crystal Palace; its expected to be a different kettle of fish. The Palace team have been extremely prone to leaking goals and even took a lead against Hull City last weekend, before drawing the game 3-3. Palace at home have now lost to all the big sides; Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool and even slipped against West Ham. Palace have been in a full goal leakage mode as they have now leaked 2 goals in 7 out of their last 8 games; with the only game not happening was a clean sheet against Southampton. Palace will look to their home crowd to give them support to score against a strong Chelsea backline that has just conceded 1 goal in their last 10 games; which have all been victories. Benteke, Zaha and Townsend will need to turn up the screws on the counter attack against Chelsea, if they want to have a chance in this game.

Chelsea are looking to make this 11 games out of 11; and when they look at the record of the big sides mentioned above, all of them have won, but all of them have weak defenses. Chelsea boast the strongest defensive record in the league; and one would expect them to continue to keep it tight despite taking on an extremely attacking side in Palace. Chelsea attacking strength has been in display also for most of the season, and while rotating the squad; they managed to secure 2 1-0 victories last week. Chelsea now boast 3 strong games leading into the new year; and will want to make every victory count in order to build up their lead which is already at 6 points today.

I am backing Chelsea to win this game by a couple of goals, so I am backing them on the Asian Handicap markets to win.
