Le Havre vs Tours by Alcuni
Once again, LeHavre disappointed his fans finishing 2017 in some kind of poor shape. If after Bradley left the team and his assistant Tanchot took the charge, the team showed a good fight spirit, in last round the play of the team is far away from what they shown in that period, LeHavre being now in a series of 4 games without a win, scoring a single goal in process. Way too far from what I expected from LeHavre. Cause they kept most of the players from previous season and overall have a good rooster. Despite of this, they are lying on 8th spot with 27 points, 7 points behind leader Brest. Not a big difference but LeHavre must come soon at wining days and keep it. Mendy and Gimbert are back in team but Duhamel is still missing.
Tours is one of the poorest team in the Ligue, being in the 4 teams’ quartet who are sitting in the bottom of the table with 15 points, but having the worst goal difference – so being rock bottom. They have also the worst defensive, conceding 30 goals having 6 games when received at least 3 goals. They lost 9 games so far keeping only couple of time a clean sheet so no wonder they have poor stats. Many times this season their coach Mercadal was under fire but somehow he survived. Will he save again his chair after an eventual defeat here, keeping in mind Tours is coming after a series of 3 positive results? Just wait and see.
Tours will try to defend heroical here. With Mendy and Gimbert back in squad LeHavre is powerful. I expect a home win but also an underish game. So LeHavre and under 2.5 goals. gl
