Villarreal vs Atletico Madrid by Iniestaone

Both Villarreal and Atletico have been poor in attack lately, the hosts have not scored in the league for three matches straight while they await Soldado's return. The visitors also have a very dire goal scoring record in La Liga these last two months, aside from netting three vs Osasuna away they were goalless in 3/3 matches (0-2 vs Sociedad, 0-3 vs Real, 0-0 vs Espanyol).

The lack of creativity has been very evident in both sides, but both sides are also displaying fine defensive skills as they've conceded 10 and 11 goals in 14 matches. That makes Atletico's defense the best in the league, tightly followed by Villarreal.

Supersub Cheryshev is most likely out for Villarreal here, which is unfortunate because in the three outings I've seen him in this season he has been a breathe of fresh air every time he's been subbed in. Castillejo's is also out and he has been instrumental to Villarreal's success this season from his wing position.

Atletico is missing, aside from long time abscensee Cerci, Filipe Luis who is a major offensive force from his wing back position.

If you've followed this fixture through the last 3 years you know what a tight and boring match this is. The last 5 meetings have ended in four 1-0 victories and one 0-0 draw. I don't see this going any lower under that line, especially given the offensive struggles both teams are experiencing. The pressure is on Atletico here as they desperately need points in order not to stray too far from the top 3 spots but this is not an easy fixture for them. Bruno and Trigueiros will make it a rough game for Tiago and Gabi on center midfield.

I expect another 0-0 here, but since both of them assumingly will be playing with two strikers each, a goal in etiher net is not impossible. All in all, the odds for under 1.5 are great and should be taken.
