Innsbruck vs Alba Volan by SillyParty
I was wondering which pick to chose, so finally I decided to combine.
Innsbruck are still leading home table, They play an extremely attacking hockey at home. They are 10-2-1-1, have scored 64 goals in 14 games, that is above 4 goal per game. Some days ago they sent home Salzburg with a straight 7-0.
Fehérvár are unpredictible. I've never seen such a two faced team in sports. One day they can win in Salzburg, then they lose twice in a short time against Olimpija that is the weakest team in EBEL. It seems that Fehérvár are getting out from their losing streak, They have won their last two, the first one in Graz, and then on Friday they played a game people will remember for a long time. They were trailing home 1-5 against top team Linz in 22nd minute, looking a totally demoralized team. In the second half of the game they showed their skills, and perhaps Linz started t to play in a too comfortable manner. The final score was 6-5 OT that can give some self-confidence to Fehérvár, however, it could have been exhausting to win a game like this and then to have a long bus trip to Tirol. Despite the wins they've achieved recently, they are only 9th on away table.
Innsbruck are second best in PP, having converted 23,8% of their advantages, while Fehérvár is 7th with 17,6%.
Penalty Killing is not Innsbruck's strength, they are below 80% (79,3), Fehérv.ár are 82,5%.
Scoring efficiency of Innsbruck is 12,75, the best in EBEL. Fehérvár are 8th with 8,94%
There are seven(!) Innsbruck players amongst top 20 top scorers in league, while Fehérvár are only represented by Justin Maylan.
So far Innsbruck scored most in the league and conceded the second most goals, closely followed by Fehérvár in terms in goals against.
I expect 4 or 5 home, and and 2 away goals which means a home win and over 5,5.
