Arsenal vs Stoke City by DrWooll

There are 2 boggie teams for Arsenal, one is Wigan which I doubt they will play competatively for a few years, and the other is Stoke.

Recent matches show Arsenal dominate Stoke at the Emirates having the last two meetings 2-0 and 3-0, but these circumstances mean Stoke have a good chance of scoring. Arsenal impressed this week with 4-1 and 5-1 wins against Basel and West Ham, but playing in europe on tuesday and coming home to prepare for Stoke wont be easy. Their last game at home saw a decent Southampton win 2-0 against a weakened but capable Arsenal side. Arsenal were poor and the fans don't help. With right back Bellerin out, Arsenals back four look uncomfortable which Southampton showed. Stoke have quality players that Arsenal have not faced for a while.

Stokes attacking midfielders Shakiri and Arnautovic are quality players that I believe can step into any Premier League team, dont forget they both have Champions League winner medals. Look for Arnautovic to score anytime. They will cause problems when Stoke counter attack as they won't see most of the possesion. Manager Hughes knows this and apart from a faltering start to the season, Stoke now create chances in every game they play. They have scored in 11 of the 12 games and won 5 of there last 7 games, which is excellent form in the PL.

Any team coming back from a midweek european game find in difficult, Arsenal seem to deal with it better than most but quality opposition will be difficult. BTTS main bet, but I will also cover a small stake on 0-0 with two good passing teamspin
