Leicester vs Manchester C. by Rahul

Leicester
VS
Manchester-C.
Leicester City have qualified for the UEFA Champions League and now their only focus is to rise up the Premier League table. The defending Premier League champions are sitting in 16th spot in the table with just 2 victories all season, so that has to improve if they want to at least secure a European football spot for next season. Leicester have invested well with a great attacking lineup including Slimani, Vardy, Mahrez, Musa among their ranks, but have failed to deliver on a consistent basis of champions. While Leicester have managed to find the back of the net in 6 straight games in the league, their struggles on the defensive end are clear for all to view especially with the sale of Kante and the injury to Kasper Schmeichel. Leicester will lick their lips to attack a Man City defense who will be missing Otamendi, Kompany and Fernandinho as the defensive cover in this encounter.

Manchester City will start this game with Iheanacho up front, who has delivered strong performances whenever he has taken up to the pitch. With Aguero suspended all eyes will be on the Nigerian striker along with the supporting cast of De Bruyne, Nolito and Sterling to give enough attacking strength to score and win this game as City need to catch up on the 4 point deficit against the table toppers Chelsea. City will look at this Leicester City defense who are weak, and will be aiming to find a goal early on to give the Leicester side a to to think about. Man City have only not scored in 3 games all season, and all 3 of them came away on the road. Man City have been weak at the back even with all their defenders fit, and conceded goals in 15 out of their last 16 games in all competitions, showcasing the struggles they have had.

Both teams are extremely motivated to get their domestic form back on song, and I expect this to be an entertaining game, as they tend to be in the late kick off games at the King Power Stadium; and I am backing both teams to score in this encounter.
