Troyes vs Valenciennes by Alcuni

Troyes - Valenciennes

Despite a bad start of the season I was sure Garcia’s men will come back and will be involved in the promotion battler. They were in a run of 4 consecutive wins and this make them to climb in table till 5th spot. Is true they still rely on old pearl Nivet who is nearly 40 years old but put so much effort in what he’s doing and is the most admired man from actual squad. They were so close to take their fifth win, being in lead 1-0 away at Orleans till 5 mins to go. They had few chances to close the game, missing all with so ease. And as often is happening in football they were leveled 5 mins to go and more over could have lose the game in the dying minutes when Orleans missed 2 good chances. And instead of 24points and 2nd place is table they are not on 5th with 22. But what is matter being they are playing most of the time a good football.

Two defenders are back in squad: N’Diaye and Obiang, but important midfielder Dingome and striker Caceres are missing.

The most entertainment team of the Ligue 2, Valenciennes (20 goals scored and 18 goals conceded) is passing now thru some mini-crisis losing last two games, conceding 7 goals and scoring only 3. A mirror evolution compared with previous two games when they took 6 points, scoring 7 goals and conceding 3 goals. Is the most overish team in the league and I mean overish, last 5 games ended with galore of goals 23 goals! Nice team to watch especially when playing another team who didn’t have a defensive approach. Same was last game when they hosted Nimes and eventually lost 2-3 after a spectacular game. Kantari are back in the squad but Niakhate is suspended.

I do think we will see goals here. The odds for over 2.5 is fair enough but too low for me. Let’s try BTTS in second half at some decent odds. Niane and DaCosta as the goal
