Laval vs Le Havre by Alcuni
Laval took a shocking win on the road, 3-1 over AC Ajaccio. This win put an end to a series of 6 games without a win and pulled off Laval from the bottom of the table. Was a shocking win cause as we know Ajaccio is a fortress for most of the teams, few teams took points here, secondly because Laval played couple of days before in cup and obviously, fatigue were present and finally they were in deficit 0-1 at HT after a funny own-goal. Remembered another similar game played by Laval last season when they scored 4 times in 20 mins against Auxerre. True is Laval was, perhaps, the unluckiest team so far losing a lot of points in the end of the games, after same decent football.
On contrary, LeHavre put an end to a positive series, losing 0-1 away at Reims, after 5 consecutive games without a defeat with 4 consecutive wins. Was first defeat of new coach Tanchot, after 3 wins since he took the charge after coach Bradley quitted. They were outplayed in first half by a team in good mood, but had plenty of chances in second half to count on the table. But once again worth to mention keeper Farnolle made another fabulous game (and I am afraid he will leave the team soon after some tremendous evolutions). Cambon remains sidelined but he already played for reserve team so will be back in team after an injury
Remember, told ya few times, there was some times when these two teams helped each other to remain in Ligue 2, alternating the wins – but all wins came for the raveling team; lately this results alternated with some draws so difficult to say this is a classic 3 for 3 points. With a GK in great shape and good offensive compartment I dare to say LeHavre will collect all points in this trip. gl
