Tomas Berdych - Gilles Simon

This is a very complicate, up and down matchup.

These two guys have met 12 times before and the lower ranked one won 7 times.

Berdych has a matchup issue here, as he needs his best form in order to hit through Simon and surpass his smart, tricky gameplay. The frenchman can bring enough variety in the game for Tomas to be taken out of his linear forcefull hitting.

These days Berdych is quite far from his best tennis days and he came in Paris after 3 consecutive tournament opener losses. He wasn't far from losing here too, in a 3setter with Joao Susa but he managed to take advantage of a slumping game from the portuguese.

Let's also take note that Berdych is coming of 6 out of his 8 matches when the over has cashed. 9 tie-breaks on the stretch.

Today he's got a higher level of opposition in Gilles Simon, which is also coming of 3 consecutive 3setters, bringing to the wire even the man of the moment in ATP, Sir Andrew Murray.

Berdych has on his side the motivation to follow his slight chances to reach the World Tour Finals in London (despite a probable match againt Murray in the next round will likely be a dead end) while Simon will have a great support from the crowd, as he did the previous two matches. We have two gifted but not mentally consistent players and I expect today a oscillating match, with both guys taking a set and Simon having the edge in the decider.

I'm gonna reccomend you to take the over and I hope we'll be checking another profitable bet.

Let's go green!

Good call here too! Can't see it going under on this match either. Did you give up on the Djokovic X Dimitrov bet? Went over in number of sets @3.75, best profit in the tournament so far :)
