FC Copenhagen vs Leicester by PatrickBateman
Copenhagen are in great form this season and they look more serious than ever. They are unbeaten in the domestic championship and the only loss they have suffered came at King Power Stadium two weeks ago. But there wasn`t much to separate between two teams, and Copenhagen could have equalized late in the game had it not been for the fantastic save from their fellow Dane Kasper Schmeichel. They`ve played 1:1 in Porto and thrashed Club Brugge at home 4:0 in the game in which they`ve shown all of their ability, both attacking and defensive.
They will be without Amankwaa, and Kadrii is questionable.
Leicester City on the other hand is playing far less consistent in their domestic championship than last season, but truth to be told, we all kind of knew that they would hardly come close to last year`s succes. However, in Champions League they are flawless, with 3 wins out of 3 matches, and without goal in their net. They are still tough team to beat, but on the road they are much more vulnerable, with only one win in all competitions - 4:0 at Club Brugge, who are in my opinion weakest team in the Champions League, even weaker than Dinamo Zagreb. However, the only draw away from home came this weekend at White Heart Lane in a game in which they`ve shown they still have something to say when travelling.
For them Mendy is injured, while Slimani is questionable.
FC Copenhagen will not go all guns blazing in this match as they will host Porto, in a game in which they will be favourites considering that Porto doesn`t look as good as we are used to see them, so this game is not a must win for them. They will probably play organized football, without much risk, while still trying to win. Leicester is in comfortable position, and will be happy with a draw from this game, therefore will play in their usual cautious style, while always being ready to answer if needed. I consider Copenhagen to be rightful favourites for this one, but I think that this game is closer to a draw, so I will go for a draw here with a smaller stake at 3.30.
