Benfica vs Dinamo Kiev by Sors
Benfica: Ederson – Semedo, Lindelof, Luisao, Grimaldo – Pizzi, Salvio, Fejsa, Cervi – Guedes, Mitroglou
Dynamo: Rudko – Morozyuk, Khacheridi, Vida, Antunes – Rybalka, Tsyhankov, Sydorchuk, Buyalskyi, Gonzalez – Junior Moraes
The hosts are coming into this game on the back of four straight wins, one in the Portuguese Cup, two in the league against Belenenses (2-0/away) and Ferreira last Friday (3-0/home) and one against Dynamo in the first match between these two teams in Kiev on Oct. 19 (2-0).
The Portuguese lost two points against Besiktas in their previous home match in Group B (1-1) and were totally outplayed in the visit to Napoli on Sept. 28 (2-4), but unlike August and September, now Rui Vitoria has much less problems with injured players, as only Jardel (d / 0+0), Rafa Silva (m / 1+0) and Jonas (f / 2+1) remain unavailable.
The Ukrainians are on the last spot in the standings, with only one point from three rounds (0-1-2 2/5), which simply means that any other result except a win at Estadio da Luz will put an end to their hopes for further progress in the tournament.
Dynamo Kiev is a team with huge experience in the European tournaments and this fact shouldn’t be underestimated, but the guests have obvious problems lately (even in their domestic league) and what is also important to be noted: five important players in Danilo Silva (d / 5+0), Valeriy Fedorchuk (m / 8+1), Denys Harmash (m / 13+3), Oleksandr Hladkyy (f / 12+0) and Andriy Yarmolenko (f / 12+2) are out for tonight’s clash due to injuries, while Yevhen Khacheridi (m / 12+0) is doubtful.
I think that Benfica will manage to win three points from this match.
