PSV Eindhoven vs Bayern by PatrickBateman
PSV is in mixed form recently and found themselves in third place on a domestic league table, while in the Champions League they are also in third place, which leads in Europa League, thanks to better goal difference than Rostov.
Bayern on the other hand is same old Bayern, as always, marrauding through Bundesliga, with Hoffenheim and Leipzig who are also undefeated following them, but without real feeling they can hurt them. In Champions League however, they are second behind Atletico, who came on top in Madrid in September. They are coming into this game with four straight wins, one of them being against PSV in Alianz Arena two weeks ago.
Bayern is clear favourite here, and they will need a win in order to secure their progress and maybe try and push for the first place on the table, which brings arguably better position in the first knockout round. PSV will not defend at home because it is not their stronger side, and besides that, they have nothing to lose really. Progress through the Group Stage is a bit unrealistic, but they will surely try to stay in Europe and will aim for third position. They will play at home against Rostov in the last round and that will probably be deciding match for them. Considering Rostov either don`t have real chance to get something out of the next two matches, PSV practically don`t have anything to lose in this one and can play without pressure. They are capable of scoring goals, they even scored one in Alianz Arena, and Bayern are surely capable of conceding goals, which they did in the last 5 out of 6 matches played.
I see therefore both teams scoring here and surely over 2,5 goals.
