The Chicago Cubs will send Jon Lester (2-1 with a 1.69 ERA) to the mound for Game 5 of the World Series.

The left-hander pitched well in each of his first three starts in the 2016 playoffs, before surrendering 6 hits and 3 runs with three walks over 5 2/3 innings in Tuesday’s 0-6 loss at Progressive Field.

However, Lester went 2-0 with a 2.37 ERA in his previous four starts versus Cleveland and what is also important to be noted: the 32-year-old hurler has posted a 1.61 ERA in seventeen starts at Wrigley Field in 2016.The last of them was on Oct. 15, when he limited the Dodgers to 1 hit and 1 run in six innings of a 8-4 win.

Lester will be opposed by Indians right-hander Trevor Bauer (0-1 with a 5.00 ERA), who gave up 2 hits and 2 runs with three walks over 3 2/3 innings in Wednesday’s 1-5 home loss to the Cubs.

In the matter of fact, the 25-year-old pitcher had problems in each of his three starts in October, as he's allowed 6 hits and 3 runs (including two homers) over 4 2/3 innings of a 5-4 home win against the Red Sox on Oct. 6 and lasted just 2/3 innings against the Dodgers on Oct. 17 (4-2).Bauer went 3-1 with a 2.87 ERA in his first six road contests this season, but posted a 5.24 ERA in the last six of them.

I think that the Chicago Cubs will manage to win Game 5, most probably with more than one run difference.
