Portland will be starting their first road game against Denver Nuggets who ended up 33 - 49 last season and just snached a very close first win against the Pelicans. their team is reaching matureity, they have alot of young talent reaching an age now, that they are starting to produce. Specially Jusuf Nurkic is worth mentionen, starting his 3'th year in the NBA out with a 23 point and 9 rebound Center performance. Good for him. Nuggest made 44.6% of their shots against Pelicans, decent shot selection although they struggeled abit from 3 point. dropping to 33.3%. They are tonight going to be missing Gary Harris, but might regain Darrel Arthur, he is gametime decision as it looks, after suffering a knee injury.

Portland had a great first game at home against a very different jazz team, with Joe Johnson dealing 33 points, but with no Gordon Hayward. Portland managed to top them with 9 points, but going down to Clippers in their season opener, ending the match 114 - 106.

I like Portland to win tonight because they are well rested, they have the larger and stronger roster, and Damian Lillard is already playing as if its mid season dropping 39 and 29 points. and C.J McCollum following up nicely with around 25 and 16 points. I think Portland is more thirsty, they are more routined, well rested and experienced from a well fought playoff series last season. They should be able to take this game home rather than lose it
