Sunderland
VS
Arsenal
Arsenal come into this game after a disappointing 0-0 draw against Middlesbrough; and will want to change that form around as a victory against Sunderland should be relatively routine. The Sunderland side have been absolutely pathetic losing even to a rotated Southampton side by a score of 1-0 in mid-week. Sunderland have a record of being the only team across the English League structure not to get a single win this campaign; and taking on a strong Arsenal side who have been strong defensively, will showcase more struggles for them. Defoe has looked like the only decent player in this side who knows what he is doing at this level, but the rest of the team looks like its long over-due for this side to get relegated.

Arsenal will come into this game aiming to bring confidence of goals considering they have a relatively easy Champions League fixture in mid-week. Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Alex Iwobi have been their form players up front; while Mesut Oil looks like he fades through many games and then suddenly shows up with a creative assist or goal. Wenger knows that this is surely winnable game, and a loss here will see them slip up in the title chase given their are joint top at this stage. Arsenal should look to pump a few goals past this Sunderland side.

I am backing Arsenal on the Asian Handicap; seeing them smashing quite a few past this weak Sunderland outfit and Wenger should start with the strongest possible outfit he has available to him.
