Dortmund vs Schalke by PatrickBateman

Today we have Ruhr derby, one of the fiercest derbys in Germany, in which Dortmund will host Schalke.

Borussia's latest form is below expectations and they are already six points behind leading Bayern, which is a lot in Bundesliga where Bayern are universe for itself. It should be noted however that serious of injuries prevented them from getting a better results. Toda will not be much different, with hosts being without Durm, Mor and Reus, while Schmelzer, Bender and Aubameyang are questionable.

On the other side we have Schalke, whose form has improved dramatically in last month. You could say that they have found their game and they are looking dangerous when attacking, having no problems finding a net regularly. They are still without Embolo and Coke, while Kolasinac and Di Santo are questionable. However Konoplyanka is a quality player who should be able to cover Embolo's absence.

Borussia will go for a win and Schalke will try to answer, encouraged by recent fragility of hosts and their good form. Both teams are capable of scoring, and neither will be happy with draw, especially hosts. This should be an interesting game with both teams looking to score more goals than the opponent. Therefore I see this game producing goals from both sides and going above 2,5 goals margin.

Good luck!

Maybe a bet with cards?

I don`t personally like betting on cards as there are too many factors going into that, for example referee`s average, what kind of approach will teams use, even calculation with accumulating cards considering future schedule. So for me if you put all that in some kind of "equation" where amount of research minus inevitable risk and odds of probably 1.85, it`a not worth it. But I see where you`re coming from as this is big derby and there should be lot of "heat" between the two teams and it could easily go above margin. So if you`ve done your research or have some kind of hunch, I say go for it.
Anyway, good luck!

Referee for this match is Felix Brych, as you can see: he had 8 games this season and gave 40 yellow and 0 red cards. Betting on cards is never a 100% sure bet but I think for this game it's worth to try. Good luck tonight!

Nice job Veldman. 0:0 is really weird result even though it was derby, but your bet passed without any problems. Be sure to let me know next time you have a good bet with cards ;)
