UAE President Cup qualifiers - Dubai vs Deba Al Husun

Despite releasing Issam Jemma and their new Brazilian striker Vinicius Calamari suffered a serious injury after his first game, Dubai remains a strong club. They have been replaced both players with two African strikers, Mamadou Coulibaly and Haruna Zambuk Garba. Both newcomers started well by scoring against Masfout last round.

Deba Al Hissin have started well the President qualifiers and have the same number of points like Dubai, 7. However, they had easy games against the weakest two sides from this group, Masfout and Ras Al Khaimah + a draw against Al Thaid.

Dubai also drew with Al Thaid, but they have won against the best team from this group Ajman. True, Ajman played without Tassio Maia, while Jemma scored the winner coming from the bench. Still that win was a good one.

A balanced game it's expected here as both sides are undefeated so far, but I think Dubai will have the edge as they have more quality in term of local players. About the foreigners I think both are about at the same level because Deba have two decent Brazilian players, Iago Santos and Thiago Santos. Also, the coach of Dubai is the Italian Guglielmo Arena, who was the manager of Deba last season.
