Maryenlist vs Greve by Dajkula
Maryenlist hosts Greve in round 12 of the Danish 2`nd Division, group 2. Maryenlist is third on the table with 15 points while Greve is second with 16 points. This is a fight for promotion group places and the teams are doing well. But it is still early in the championship and many things can change. In this lower Danish leagues it is hard to find a solid home favorite because there rarely is one. The guests have equal chances picking up points and usually they do. And today I think Greve is closer to a win.
Maryenlist is the promotion contender but has hit a rough patch lately, so did Greve. Maryenlist lost 3 of the last 4 in the league, 2 of those were at home. They lost to the leader Kolding 1:2 but the most surprising loss was against bottom placed Sydvest 0:4 at home. Maryelnlist hasn`t been good at home this season and has just 1-2-2 with 5:8 goal difference. They obviously have big problems scoring and should have them today with some absences.
Greve is also in lousy form losing the last two matches against strong Middelfart and the leader Kolding at home. Those are the strongest teams in the league so maybe that was expected. Greve as a matter a fact plays a bit better away from home and has 2-2-1 so far and 8:6 goal difference. So they are the third best away team. Looking closely Greve has in fact lost just one from the last 8 away going to previous season in lower league. So they travel well and have played once against Maryenlist beating them 1:0.
Maryenlist will miss today the important attacker Spasojevic and also attacker Petersen while Greve is without the regular defender Foge.
With no real home advantage in the league I go with the team doing slightly better.
