Manchester United vs Fenerbahce by Josh

I was a bit suprise to see Man utd play out a drab draw with Liverpool on Monday night. Utd were rock solid defensively on the night and allowed no spaces for Liverpool's low passes. The only concern here remains who makes the starting 11 here. Man utd started their Europa league with a 1-0 loss to feyenoord. They won Zorya 1-0 at home and with a game against Chelsea on Sunday, changes is expected in starting 11 with the likes of Carrick, schneiderlin and Fellini pushing for a start. Martial & Mirkhitayran could also make a return here after sitting out the last game. However, I expect a recognisable back 4 as it would indeed be an upset to lose this home game.

Fernabahce were held to a 1-1 draw against Zorya in Ukraine. They made their home advantage count in their last game winning Feyenoord 1-0 in turkey. Their last game was a 1-1 draw against Alanyaspor which means they are yet to win their last 2 games with two draws.

I am going with under 2.5 goals here. A point would be good for fernabahce here so they would allow man utd dictate play while they wait to hit them on the break. Utd have struggled for goals this season. They have shown that the 4-1 win over Leicester was indeed a fluke. I am not sure who leads the line here but I am counting more on Utd's dogged defensive display. Ibrahimovic have struggled for goals with his foot so it comes down to how many goals he can score with his head. I don't see Utd scoring more than twice here and with their defence and lack of enough chances from open play, it's hard to see an over flow of goals. 1-0, 1-1.
