Colorado vs San Jose EQ by Filipson

The hosts surely seem as the favorites here and they should claim all 3 points here and continue their very nice run of 5 games without a defeat, from which they've won 3. Colorado have a chance claim the 1st spot tonight, which is surely their goal as it would be the most suitable prize for their performances this season. The hosts are an amazing defensive side, especially at home, where they've conceded only 5 goals in 15 home matches, scoring 17, which shows their games are not that efficient and they usually finish the job with a goal or 2 in the best case. Their home record is 10-5-0 by the way, so they are practically unbreakable here and way stronger teams than San Jose were left without anything here. They are without the defenders St.Ledger and Burling, while Jermaine Jones, Dillon Serna and Kevin Doyle are most likekely to miss this match, too. I don't think these absences will impact their performance that much tonight, as they won't change anything in their very organized and aggressive approach.

San Jose have some chances of getting to the playoffs, but it won't be easy. They are 6 points away from the 6th place, with a game less, but the teams above them won't give up and the guests may easily end up outside the playoffs. They've just won against Real Salt Lake at home 2:1, but they really didn't impress in that match, as the guests deserved a point. San Jose have been really struggling in attack for the whole season now, as they have only 31 goal after the same number of matches, which is really low. They do not create many chances, and that is more than obvious on the road, where they've scored 13 goals in 15 matches, with the score 1-7-7.

On top of everything, this is the clash of the 2 most unattractive teams in conference, with 2.2 and 2.1 goals per games, and around 2/3 of the games with less than 3 goals, due to the different reasons though, as you could see in everything written above. Their previous duels have never been that efficient, as their last 8 duels in the last 3 years have all ended with less than 3 goals. This is also a great chance for Colorado to end their terrible record against San Jose, as they are without the win against the guests in their last 16 duels, which is unbelievable. Their current shapes, but also the difference in quality, point heavily to this outcome imo, and I believe the hosts will grab all 3 wins and the 1st place, scoring probably a goal or 2 in one not very entertaining match. Good luck!pin

H2H is interesting here I think, last 8 games have a total of 7 goals and never more than 2 goals in a game. But Colorado have not a win in their last 8 home games vs. SJ. I know their home record is great this year, but thats a Little scary with those stats H2H. The game less a month ago ended 0-0 in Colorado.

@19 You can easily go for under 2.5 here, mate :) I just wanted to combine these two, as Colorado have to win once against San Jose, and they are simply a way better side at the moment :)
