Bourg-Peronnas vs Amiens by Alcuni
Bourg is continuing their good run started 6 rounds ago. This time was a 0-0 on the road at Nimes and Della Maggiore boys have no 4 draws and 2 wins in last 6 games, climbing on 14th spot. Despite this result, 0-0, was an agreeable game with lot of rhythm and goal opportunities, but must of them in Nimes favor. Bourg had, once again, an inform goalkeeper, Fabri saving a lot of shots and kept Bourg in game. Upfront they had their chances, most of them missed by Hoggas and instead of an overish game (after the chances missed by both) we pleased with a goalless draw. Heinry is suspended for this game.
Playing their fourth game in only 10 days was way too much for little Amiens. After a series of 7 unbeaten games they hosted Troyes and lost 0-1 after a poor game. Obviously they were fatigue and even they had a slight better possession I didn’t see too many clear chances to score. Practically they had a single shot on goal- too little to take another win. Troyes was way dangerous, especially in second half, when scored the wining goal plus missed at least another 3 great chances. So if the final score would have been 3-0 for Troyes, I wouldn’t be so surprised. Now after a long and well-deserved break Amiens can play their good football they shown so far. Lefort and Adenon (both defenders) are suspended here.
Not too many info regarding the teams yet. But for sure Amiens should pass over the fatigue from 2 weeks ago and will fight hard against an inform Bourg Peronnas. Back the draw. gl
