Opelka vs Marterer by Estebaneiro

Reilly Opelka is another one of the huge servers, and he shown himself to the wider audience this year in Atalanta, where he reached semifinal, beating Kevin Anderson and Donald Young on the way, who were clear favourites back then. Opelka was not very concerned by that, and once he took down Kevin Anderson in three setter, he followed up with a straight sets victory over Young. It would probably not be possible if it hadn't been for Opelka serve, which e.g. earned him 20 aces in the match vs Kevin Anderson.

Marterer is not playing that much on outdoor hard courts, preferring clay, but he also plays pretty often in indoor tournaments and he does very well there (on challenger level). He is still slightly adjusting after winning two consecutive tournaments on clay in Morocco, but he is generally better player than Opelka and should be able to do better in the rallies. On the other hand Opelka yesterday dropped just 6 points on his serve, recording 13 aces. I think that there should be at least one tiebreak in this match, and with this, such line should be crossed.
