Chargers vs Broncos by Dartagnan

The Chargers are either the most unlucky team in NFL, or most stupid. But, one thing they aren't - they are not the floor mats one can picture by looking at their record. 1 win, 4 losses. And all of 4 losses easily could have been 4 wins. They blew the fourth quarter leads 3 times and blew 2 opportunities to win the game in the fourth in their last game. On the other hand we have the Broncos who looked perfect till they met Atlanta. And here we saw how their defense can be picked apart if the quarterback on the other side is a capable one. Like Ryan. Ok. Then, what about Rivers? Do you think Rivers is a capable one? I certainly think so.

Now I've got a question to inquisitive minds among you if I may: according to team averages the score should be 27-24 Denver. Plain and simple. So, while maintaining that ratio ATS wise - the line is currently Denver -3.5 after opening at -3 - the totals line opened absolutely out of the stats range. Instead of 51 points, it opened at 47 and also dropped two points. Why? I know, I know, someone in Vegas made a mistake.... NOOOO. They do not make handicapping mistakes. Even if they did - which is funny to think - the lines are coming to the books who are adjusting it - or, doctoring it as the bettors and the bookies like to say.

So, that leads me to one and only conclusion - Vegas wants us to bet Over. We are supposed to see that low in 4 points line turning in 6 point margin from what it was supposed to be and we are supposed to go - Yes, we got them baby... We ain't got nothing so far. For sure we didn't catch no one with the pants down. It is Vegas who is trying to deceive us trapping us with that impossible to imagine low number. so we can all go - yes, over baby. No WAY.
