Poland vs Armenia by Estebaneiro

Poland
VS
Armenia
Poland got very important victory against Denmark on Saturday, and now they will be looking to complete their plan to achieve 6 points from these two matches, with a victory against Armenia. Will it be easy? I'm not convinced.

First of all, Polish NT team and Napoli striker, Arek Mili was injured during the match vs Denmark and is ruled out for few months. Many people had complained about him wasting too many chances, and it was partically true, but he was also creating them to some degree, and drawing attention of the defenders. His partnership with Robert Lewandowski was very good, and they have played almost all matches throughout whole EURO 2016 campaign. Now he is gone, and another striker Lukasz Teodorczyk (currently on-loan in Anderlecht) should take his place. He was not a permenent member of the NT, sometimes he was called up, sometimes not, and even if he was, he didn't get a long playing time.

I'm afraid this one missing might disrupt the flow of the game for Poland and with two other first team players CD Pazdan and RB Piszczek being sent back home due to injuries, these are 3 players who were regular first team players in last several months.

What worries me here is abysmal performance from Armenia against Romania, but I can understand that it was an early goal and early red card which destroyed their gameplan. However, if they go with an all-defence gameplan I think it might be hard for Poland to score. Generally Polish team was never very good at breaking up the mass defence of the rivals, and now without Milik, but with Teodorczyk instead, who I think might be trying to do too much on his own, it might be a difficult task.

And Armenia is not that bad, if you look at their past results, they don't lose with more than two goals that often.pin
