Wales vs Moldova by Filipson

What Wales did on EURO 2016 is not a coincidence, as this team has been together for some time now and it seems they have finally found a right pace. They are in one quite a balanced group, where most of the teams can beat each other, except Moldova maybe, who seem the weakest among them. It is therefore very important to win games at home, and this is the one they simply must win. Wales will have to do without Aaron Ramsey, but the best player and the leader of the team, Bale, is ready, along with the likes of Joe Allen, Robson-Kanu and the others, so the squad is practically unchanged in comparison to the one that performed on EURO 2016.

The guests have never had any bigger result, and they usually end up being the last in the group, as they did in the EURO qualifications, finishing with only 2 points out of 10 games, with 4 goals scored and 16 allowed. Since then, they've had 5 friendly matches, from which they've lost 3. Moldova are really, really bad away from home, as they've taken points or stayed unbeaten only against the teams like Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Andorra, Saudi Arabia in the last 2 years. They have some big difficulties creating chances and scoring against even remotely better teams, and Wales surely are one of them.

The hosts are, apart from an obvious difference in quality, way stronger physically, so I do not expect many chances from Moldova, as they won't be able to get through the lines of Wales.

This really seems like a comfortable win of Wales to me. Good luck to all!
