Almagro on hard struggles a lot compared to clay essentially because of his slow movements and for the time he needs to hit the ball properly. He is an explosive player but not agile and this create issues on fast court. This year he was awful on hard even on Challenger level didn't show great tennis. Cuevas is also a clay player, great backhand but compared to Almagro he is quicker and more disciplined. He also breaks more in 2016 on hard, 20% compared to 10% while holds more or less at the same percentage. Head to head is all in his favour, 0-4.
