Sunderland vs Middlesbrough by Rahul

Sunderland host Middlesbrough in this years additional of the North East Derby with the Tees-Wear derby as its known. Sunderland have come off a late loss due to an own goal against a Manchester City team, who would they would have tried their best to held on to a draw but disappointed due to an own goal. Sunderland will however take heart on their performances on the offensive end of the pitch with their hit-man Jermain Defoe finding the back of the score sheet yet again. Defoe was reasonable supported by Borini and Khazri which helped create chances for them. Defensively Sunderland are as woeful as they were last season, and with David Moyes not really being a defensive specialist manager; I think Sunderland are in for a long season.

Middlesbrough really were a breath of fresh air with some entertaining football by Gaston Ramirez and Alvaro Negredo who combined well for a good early goal. Downing was also effective trying to create crossing opportunities for the team to run into, but was unlucky to not deliver a positive result. They have added Victor Valdes in between the sticks, which lends some experience but he was surprised by a Shaqiri nabbing a goal at the other post.

Both these teams haven't played this derby since back in 2008-09 season and they both teams have good offences and average defences especially in the context of this game, and I am backing both teams to score in this
