Kaunas Zalgiris vs Utenis by RageBlade
Hello everyone, here is pick from Lithuania A league. Mach between Kauno Zalgiris and Utenos Utenis. I go with Kauno Zalgiris win. This will be most important mach in this relegation battle. Basicly, who will win will almost secure 7 place.
Kauno Zalgiris comes to this game after decent performance against league leaders Vilnius Zalgiris. Kaunas lost 3:1, but they made some fight. Well, they are to weak, to put something against Vilnius Zalgiris, but they managed to score goal. There been some changes in their squad. Main goalkeeper Mikelionis is back from trail in Spain and there is also new faces in squad. Apart from 2 Brazilians that joined team a month ago, Kaunas Zalgiris signed striker Liasiuk, who showed to be decent and 2 very stong (for this level) midfielder Darius Jankauskas and Andrey Chuhley. I really looking forward to see what this Chuchley guy can do. He played some games for Belarus national team and he is only 28 years old, so I think he have a lot to offer in this level. Talking about Darius Jankauskas, he comes back home from Poland. When he played in Kruoja and Siauliai, he looked really good promising DM, but then he moved abroad. There are romours that there is 2 new Latin based guys coming to the team also. These new additions will really help to make last sprint for staying up in A league.
Talking about Utenis, this season for them is really disaster. They were struggling in offense at start of season, but after they changed manager it's vice-versa. They are now attacking good, but playing really poor at defense. In last 5 games, this team managed to scrap 2 points, but showed highway defesne. Anybody can score on them. Weather in Lithuania is really bad right now and we should see mud fight tonight.
All in all, Zalgiris is better organisation than Utenis. Utenis didn't made anything major to stay up. Zalgiris is investing all money left to make this battle as victory. Zalgiris defense is looking solid and with players they ad on I think they will get W. Utenis faith is decided I think. Yes, they hold 2W and 1L against Kauno Zalgiris this year, but those W were achieved when there was players that are already left squad. I see value in this, so let's go. Good luck.
P.S Who doesn't like straight wins bets, can go with under 2.5. Pitch is wet slow, and this should mean a lot of physical fights all over pitch.
