FCSB vs Manchester City by Ashjkc

Manchester-City
Citizens travel to Romania Champion side Steaua side after a narrow escape to grab the 3 points against an unlucky Sunderland. M.City showed an unconvincing display, but it's acceptable as Guardiola seems to be adjusting his tactics and testing it through implementation. We've seen a rather unusual use of the two full-backs in attacking positions whenever in possession while dropping first choice keeper Joe Hart.

One of the reasons why I believe half time will be goal-less is Guardiola's statement: “We travelled with two young guys and for the selection I prefer it to be the young guys than Yaya Toure.” Youngsters Angus Gunn, Tosin Adarabioyo and Angelino Tasende have been included in the squad traveling to Romania. Yaya proposes a multitude of propositions whenever deployed, he's a real engine for the team, and forces the tempo to be aggressive and quick team building towards M.City attack. Using Delph and Fernandino instead proposes more control and defending counter-attacks, especially if your opposition has players like Stanciu and Tudorie. Secondly, I believe that Guardiola is confident that the game will be won in 2nd leg and will not force the players in the 1st half. The team already has a lot of injury concerns with Samir Nasri, Wilfried Bony, Eliaquim Mangala, Oleksandar Zinchenko, Jason Denayer, Kompany and Toure. I expect them to play an average first half and understand the opponent's tactics. The game will be won in 2nd half most probably but I have that gut feeling that City wont be forcing on that 1st half.

Concerning Steaua, their manager Laurentiu Reghecampf says that he is ‘very confident’ of his side's chances against City. “We saw City play Sunderland and have all the information to play football well and achieve a positive result,” They have the players to defend, with the likes of Momcilovic, Tosca, Tamas and Enache. The exact words which added confidence to my bet is the manager's statement: 'I am very confident that we will qualify for the group stage again. We have a strong team and the match starts at 0-0.” This says a lot already on the home team's tactics on defending the clean sheet until they get the golden opportunity to strike. Even a goalless draw will be an advantage if they are able to score and draw at Emirates Stadium.

The odds are pretty good at 3 offered by Bet365 and it's definitely a value bet for mepin
