Bournemouth vs Man. United by FP

Eddie Howe has already admitted that he expects Bournemouth’s second season in the top flight to be more difficult than the first, and it is hard to disagree. His team finished 16th in the table last year and has not really made any signings to strengthen their team and push on for a higher place. Other teams have probably improved as well so it may well be a battle between Bournemouth and the newly promoted teams to decide who gets relegated.

We know what to expect with Bournemouth – same formation, same style, mainly the same players. The problem for Eddie Howe is that their opposition will know what to expect as well.

Jose Mourinho has confirmed he has all his Manchester United team fit and available for selection, with the exception of Paul Pogba who is suspended after picking up a yellow card in the final of last years Coppa Italia.

Expect Mourinho to put a lot of importance into this game as he will be keen to start in a positive fashion, and if he is seriously aiming for the title in his first season then his side will need to be winning games like Bournemouth away. Odds of 5/6 are quite generous
